Unigamma PLUS is the newest multi-detector, fan beam  bone densitometer manufactured by l'acn. The 5-channel architecture allows reduced scan times and better image resolution. Moreover, the small fan-beam configuration minimizes the geometrical distortion, ever on whole body scans. For special applications, it is also possible to use the unit i a pencil-beam mode, using only the central channel.

Unigamma COMPACT derives from Unigamma Plus, of which uses both, the radiant and the hardware - software components. COMPACT is the portable version of Unigamma PLUS. It can perform all scans of  PLUS except the Total body scan. 

It is the basic model, derived from the first instrument designed by l’acn for the valuation of calcification in the forearm bones. Gammadensit x-ray enables a scan area of 10 x 15 cm, thus performing in a single acquisition the analysis of three regions of interest ULTRADISTAL, DISTAL and MIDRADIUS.
